Note from the President
I am Jay Tripp, author, accountant, copywriter, husband, and cat dad. I started JTPS in 2013, publishing websites and doing print marketing for small businesses. Along with those services, I did editing consulting for several authors. In 2016, I wrote and published a self-help book, Coping with Transitional Milestones. Although it was my first publication, I’ve been writing and editing projects since I was a teen. Writing has been a lifelong journey as I’ve written and published several more books. I’ve achieved a Master’s in Creative Writing and a Professional Writing Graduate Certification. Currently, I’m embarking on additional studies to earn a Ph.D. in English, where I desire research digital media technology and its influence on the publishing landscape.
After working in accounting for nearly 15 years, in 2018, I began to make JTPS more than a hobby. I scaled back on the website design service to focus on growing a broader clientele of authors looking to self-publish their content. In 2022, I stopped working as a corporate accounting manager and began copywriting and book consulting. I also do accounts receivable consulting.
I and my husband are representatives of the American dream at work. I am pooling my talents together to make this business grow from the ground up. Working as an accountant and a self-publisher has been a rewarding experience that demonstrates how agile entrepreneurs must be to succeed.
Our work ethic shows in the projects that we have worked on at JTPS. We put passion into our client’s work. We enjoy seeing them light up with joy as we bring their dream from manuscript to publication. JTPS is not just a startup, but it’s a dream that is on its way to becoming the first major digital publishing consulting company based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
